Наконец пройден зтап Assigned PA, дело дошло до исправления уже существующего (ripe попросил переделать существующие Assignment -ы , так как они пересекались - overlapped).

Providing Authorization

Я сначала никак не мог понять, что за пароль надо вводить - потом все таки решил , это временный, для того, чтобы установить срок действия cookies:

Selecting [Authorization] from the menu, you can enter a clear text
password that can be used on all of your updates during the time you
specified. You can enter the password to be used, and for how long it will
be remembered by the application. Clicking Register, the password you
entered will be stored on your computer as an encrypted cookie. The same
screen will be displayed after clicking Register.

нажимаю Register, выбираю netname, после Submit Updates появляется такое предупреждение + Info

***Error: Authorisation failed
***Info: Syntax check passed

и внизу страницы:

***Info: Authorisation for [inetnum] 85.23.XX.XX - 85.23.XX.XX
using mnt-by:
not authenticated by: MNT-XXXXX

My update failed. Please explain why it failed.
There are many reasons why an update could fail. Usually, the update message stating the failure is self-explanatory. Sometimes, your update fails with this error message: "authorisation failed, request forwarded to maintainer". This means that you haven't supplied the correct authentication for the maintainer that protects the object. The attempted update is sent to the maintainer, to notify him that someone tried to change his object.

если поддержка cookies включена в браузере, значит все таки ошибка авторизации, нужно пароль mnt-by: вводить ?

вводить нужно пароль мейнтейнера объекта, который ты собираешся править

значит ты ввел не верный пароль
надеюсь ты его вводишь не в MD5, а просто в текстовом виде
